Alumni Engagement

Alex Ogeka

Dear KU alumni,

I am honored to serve as the Director of the Alumni Engagement Office, Kutztown University Foundation. I have spent 5 years at Kutztown University, working at the foundation, first as an advancement officer for Athletics, and then as a Director of Major Gifts, and enjoy working with you, the Alumni Association Board of Directors, and the university to improve the KU alumni experience.

The KU alumni community is now more than 51,000 strong and adding to that number each year. Our alumni span generations, but all of us share in a love for Kutztown University. It is this lifelong relationship with the university that the Board of Directors and staff are dedicated to nurturing and enhancing. We want each of you to know that through the Wiesenberger Alumni Center and its programs, you have a place to come to and a point of connection with KU.

Every year, Kutztown University holds its commencement exercises and inducts the graduating class into the ranks of KU alumni. What a thrill it is to see these young men and women become members of the KU alumni family. Their induction is but one more step in the many passages that mark their lifelong relationship with the university, one that began when they arrived on campus for Connections.

In closing, I again want to tell you how honored I am to be the Director of Alumni Engagement. Please do not hesitate to contact me at ogeka [at] give2ku [dot] org with your ideas and suggestions. I look forward to seeing you on campus.

All good wishes to you and the entire KU alumni community,

AO
