Golden Bear Society
The Golden Bear Society recognizes consistency and loyalty among our donors, and recognizes those contributors who have made a gift—of any amount—to the university for the previous three fiscal years in a row.
Consistent giving is a special accomplishment, and one that deserves special recognition. The more KU alumni, parents, friends, and faculty and staff participate in the philanthropic efforts of the university, the stronger KU becomes. The university's overall giving percentage plays a role in how Kutztown is ranked both nationally and among its peer institutions; not only that, but corporations and foundations often look at the overall giving percentage when deciding whether to award KU with grants or research funds. The Golden Bear Society was created to encourage consistent philanthropic participation among the members of the KU community.
